This trip was in the planning for a little over a year. The plan was for all of us to meet up in Barcelona by Sept 11 for the 9 Day Birthday Celebration cruise. Some of us would meet a few days ealy in Madrid for a bit of pre cruise exploration. Some of us would also depart from Barcelona post cruise and venture up to Bilbao to check out the Guggenheim Museum and then meet up with a the original group of in Madrid for a little more post cruise fun!!
