Guess who's back from an unforgettable European adventure?

Lavanson and I both turned 75 in April and May of this year. We found ourselves contemplating the perfect way to commemorate such a momentous occasion. After much deliberation, we decided there was no better way to celebrate than embarking on a European cruise.

And so we diid!

We just returned from our 20-day journey in Europe with an amazing group of 11 travelers. We embarked on an 9-day Celebrity Cruise, exploring the beauty and charm of Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, and enjoying ​2 extended stay​s in the vibrant city of Madrid on the front end and back end of the trip.

I'll be making a video of the trip where I'll be sharing stories, photos, and videos from our exciting escapades from the stunning architecture and delectable cuisine to the cultural immersions and unforgettable memories. I'll also discuss our plans to focus on "Slow Travel" for future trips (BTW this trip may have been long, but slow, it was not!!! ). There's so much to reminisce about!

Day 1 and 2 Madrid photos below - Cruise starts on Day 5

• A word about our airline This was the first time on this airline. Flight was (10 hrs 10 mins) non- stop Costa Rica to Madrid. Great price, $1,200 ea/ round trip - Enjoyed the fact that they fly the Airbus as we are not fans of the Boeing Max. However absolutely NO LEG room and they have a totally useless website and no one can help you at all in English so you better have your best Spanish available. On the way back I figured I would no longer have use of my legs aft being cramped up for 10 hours LOL. Most likely will not choose this flight for future Europe travels.

First time on this airline. Flight was (10 hrs 10 mins) non- stop Costa Rica to Madrid. Great price,
